Why isn’t God hearing my prayers?
Dear Friends,
Too many people find their faith shaken when they ask the God who has
said, “Call unto me and I will answer thee and show thee great and
mighty things which thou knowest not,” for help and nothing happens.
Why? Today’s attached devotional may give you the answer to your
problem. God bless you.

Psalm 66:18 (ESV)
If I had cherished iniquity in my heart,
the Lord would not have listened.
“Brother, you cannot expect God to listen to you if you will not listen to him; and when you ask of God, you must not imagine that he will give to you what you ask of him if you do not give to him what he asks of you…. When God says to a man ‘Such-and-such a thing is to be done,’ and the man says, ‘I will not do it,’ the next time he goes to God in prayer, it is very likely that the Lord will say to him, ‘As you did not do as I wished, I shall not do as you wish.’” [Charles Haddon Spurgeon, The Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit LII, (London: Passmore and Alabaster, 1906), p. 129-130]
