Where can you turn?
Dear Friends,
The news is shocking. It was a country music festival. Thousands gathered to hear the singing. Suddenly, thirty-two stories above, they heard the sounds of gun fire. According to the news accounts, 59 people were killed and over 500 were wounded. Is there any where you and I can be safe? Today’s devotional will help you find the answer. God bless you.
Because of Calvary,

Matthew 11:28-30 (ESV)
28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
“WHERE COULD I GO BUT TO THE LORD?
“Living below in this old sinful world
Hardly a comfort can afford
Striving alone to face temptation so
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Life here is grand with friends I love so dear
Comfort I get from God’s own Word
Yet when I face that chilling hand of death
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Where could I go oh where could I go
Seeking the refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to save me in the end
Where could I go but to the Lord?”
