What the experience of God’s grace should do for us!
Dear Friends,
Sadly, too often we do not experience God’s grace because we are blind
to it. We sail through life without the slightest recognition of God’s
goodness to us thinking it came because of our efforts or others
goodness. If only we would heed the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 103!
Today’s attached devotional gives us an inkling of what our blindness is
cheating us of. God bless you!

Joshua 1:3 (ESV)
3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses.
“Experience bows a sweet contented face,
Still setting to her seal that God is true:
Beneath the sun, she knows, is nothing new;
All things that go return with measured pace.
Winds, rivers, man’s still recommencing race: —
While Hope beyond earth’s circle strains her view,
Past sun and moon, and rain and rainbow too.
Enamored of unseen eternal grace,
Experience saith, ‘My God doth all things well’;
And for the morrow taketh little care,
Such peace and patience garrison her soul: —
While Hope, who never yet hath eyed the goal,
With arms flung forth, and backward flowing hair,
Touches, embraces, hugs the invisible.”
