What do you love?
Dear Friends,
Suppose someone put a piece of paper in front of you with this sentence: I love _____. How would you fill in the blank? Many, if they were honest, would say money. But that is a most unwise choice as today’s devotional shows. God bless you.

Proverbs 13:7 (ESV)
One pretends to be rich, yet has nothing;
another pretends to be poor,[b] yet has great wealth.
“There is a burden of care in getting riches; fear in keeping them; temptation in using them; guilt in abusing them; sorrow in losing them; and a burden of account at last to be given concerning them.” [Matthew Henry in 12,000 Religious Quotations edited and compiled by Frank S. Mead, (Grand Rapids: Baker Book House, 1965), p. 383]
