What am I to expect five minute after I die?
Dear Friends,
Yesterday’s devotional asked you to think of what will happen to you five minutes after you die. Today’s devotional shows just what will happen if you are one who trusts in our Lord Jesus Christ. Read it and let it comfort your heart. God bless you.

II Corinthians 5:6-8 (ESV)
6 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
Luke 23:43 (ESV)
43 And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
“Souls united to Christ by his redemptive grace do not ‘wait’ for centuries in some ethereal holding pen until the second coming of Jesus before drinking deep of eternal glory. Moments after bodily death, believing souls shall behold the face of Christ their Lord. The Christian’s next experience immediately upon death will be absolute security, dazzling sights, and thrilling experiences.” [Michael Allen Rogers, What Happens After I Die? (Wheaton, IL: Crossway Books, 2013), p. 108]
