The best place to walk.
Dear Friends,
The Bible often uses the word “walk” to describe a Christian life
because walk implied activity toward a goal by which one make progress
toward that goal. Today’s attached devotional is one place where the
idea is set forth with the added benefit that it tells us the best place
for this activity. Think over the poem carefully. It will encourage you.
God bless you.

I John 1:5 (ESV)
5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
WALK IN THE LIGHT!
“Walk in the light! so shall you know
That fellowship of love
His Spirit only can bestow,
Who reigns in light above.
Walk in the light! and sin abhorred
Shall never defile again;
The blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord,
Shall cleanse from every stain!
Walk in the light! and you shall find
Your heard made truly His,
Who dwells in cloudless light enshrined,
In whom no darkness is.
Walk in the light! and you shall own
Your darkness passed away,
Because that light has on you shone,
In which is perfect day.
Walk in the light! and even the tomb
No fearful shade shall wear;
Glory shall chase away its gloom,
For Christ has conquered there.
Walk in the light! and you shall see
A path, though thorny, bright;
For God by grace shall dwell in thee,
And God Himself is light.”
