How to lose out!
Dear Friends,
No one wants to be a loser, yet many who name the name of Christ are neglecting the things that make for victory in the Christian life. How can one have victory when one does not stay in contact with the One who gives power to the faint? If I do not talk to God in prayer and do not let Him speak to me through His Word the Bible, am I not setting myself up to lost out? See what today’s devotional says. God bless you.
Because of Calvary,

Hebrews 10:21-22 (ESV)
21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
“It is greatly to your loss, that you live at such a distance from God, and are so seldom with him; think not that the ablest ministers, or choicest books will ever be able to satisfy your doubts and comfort your hearts, whilst you let down your communion with God to so low a degree.” [The Works of John Flavel IV, (Edinburgh: The Banner of Truth Trust, 1820), p. 263]
