How much are you worth?
Dear Friends,
Do you ever feel worthless? We all do at times, and today’s devotional, a recent hymn we sang in the church of which I am a member on Sunday, should help. God bless you.

Jeremiah 9:23-24
Jeremiah 9:23-24 (ESV)
23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”
Jeremiah 9:23-24
“My worth is not in what I own;
Not in the strength of flesh and bone,
But in the costly wounds of love
At the cross.
My worth it not in skill or name;
To win or lose, in pride or shame,
But in the blood of Christ that flowed
At the cross.
As summer flowers we fade and die,
Fame, youth and beauty hurry by,
But life eternal calls to us
At the cross.
I will not boast in wealth or might,
Or human wisdom’s fleeting light,
But I will boast in knowing Christ
At the cross.
Two wonders here that I confess:
My worth and my unworthiness,
My value fixed ― my ransom paid
At the cross.
I rejoice in my Redeemer ―
Greatest treasure, Wellspring of my soul.
I will trust in Him, no other;
My soul is satisfied in Him alone.”
