He’s always there and in control!
Dear Friends,
As things seem to grow ever more chaotic, it is important to remember
the grand Bible truth of God’s providence. God is always there and He is
always in control. There is a wonderful story of Martin Luther and his
beloved Kathrine. Luther was under a great deal of pressure and
struggling with depression. One day he came home to find his wife
dressed in mourning. When he asked her why, she replied it was because
God must have died since her husband was so sad. Luther got the point
and had a good laugh at his folly. May today’s attached devotional give
you similar relief. God bless you.

Luke 12:6-7 (ESV)
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7 Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.
“There is scarcely any truth more precious to the Christian faith than that of divine Providence. It lays hold of us at every crisis of our personal history; it touches us every day and every hour; it includes in its scope our whole career from the cradle to the grave, and what lies beyond. It is indispensable to the religious interpretation of history.” [Robert Law, The Great Adventure, (Toronto: McClelland and Sewart, 1916), p. 137]
