Help keeping peaceful!
Dear Friends,
With all the excitement and anxiety generated by the upcoming presidential election, it is often difficult to maintain peace. Today’s devotional, a song from the Getty’s I heard for the first time at church on Sunday, will help you if you take time to meditate on it and the Scripture. God bless you.
Because of Calvary,

Isaiah 44:2
Isaiah 44:2 ESV
Thus says the Lord who made you,
who formed you from the womb and will help you:
Fear not, O Jacob my servant,
Jeshurun whom I have chosen.
Isaiah 44:2
“Still, my soul be still,
And do not fear
Though winds of change may rage tomorrow.
God is at you side,
No longer dread
The fire of unexpected sorrow.
God, You are my God,
And I will trust in You and not be shaken.
Lord of peace renew
A steadfast spirit within me
To rest in You alone.
Still, my soul be still,
Do not be moved
By lesser lights and fleeting shadows.
Hold onto His ways
With shield of faith
Against temptations flaming arrows.
Still, my soul be still,
Do not forsake
The truth you learned in the beginning,
Wait upon the Lord,
And hope will rise
As stars arise when day is dimming.”
