Have you ever wondered whether God loves you?
Dear Friends,
It happens to all of us at one time or another. Everything goes wrong. We are sorely wounded. Life seems intolerable. And then comes the question: “If this is going on, how can God love me?” If you’ve ever been there, today’s devotional is for you. God bless you.
Because of Calvary,

Galatians 2:20 (ESV)
20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
“Think of the glory that he left, and of the shame that he endured, for our sakes. Picture him hanging at a woman’s breast at Bethlehem, and afterwards hanging on a cross at Calvary. Let your eye lovingly gaze upon him in the weakness of his infancy, and then in the greater weakness of his death agony, and remember that he suffered all this for you. For you the thorn-crown; for you the spittle on his cheeks; for you the plucking of his hair; for you the accursed lash that scourged his sacred shoulders; for you the nails, the sponge, the vinegar, the gall, the spear, the text, — all for you.” [Charles Haddon Spurgeon, The Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit LI, (London: Passmore and Alabaster, 1905), p. 507]
