• Reaching Reading Mission Overview

  This summer Grace Youth Group will be doing local missions work for the ministries and individuals that are supported by the church.  Beginning on Monday, June 22nd and ending on Friday, June 26th, each day the Missions Team will head to a different location to serve in any way that best helps support the individuals/ministries needs. The total cost of this trip will be $50 to cover the meals for the week.  On Friday we will go to 11th and Pike Park in the afternoon to run organized activities and put on an evangelistic show for any children at the park. To end the week, all those that served on this Missions Trip and their families will be invited to an end of the week celebration for a time of fellowship, testimonies, and dinner following the ministry at the park.

  Mission trips are a great way for individuals to use the different gifts that God has given them to help build up and support other ministries outside our own local body. Our hope is that those that serve on this Missions Trip will be encouraged by the different ways God is working in Reading city through the ministries and individuals we serve this summer. We also pray that this trip would stretch and strengthen the faith of the individuals serving in this work.

  All individuals that are interested in serving on the 2015 Missions Team should first seek the Lord in prayer, talk with your families, and lastly, fill out an application by contacting Pastor Tim Hogan, and turn it in no later than April 1st.

  9:00am: Depart for Merrick’s residence
  5:00pm: Head back to church

   Tuesday June 23rd: Work with Carlos & Alejandra Rodriguez

  8:00am: Practice for Friday’s Park Ministry
  9:00am: Depart for Rodriguez’s residence
  5:15pm: Head back to church

   Wednesday June 24th: Mercy Community Crisis Pregnancy Center

  8:00am: Practice for Friday’s Park Ministry
  8:45am: Depart for MPC
  5:00pm: Head back to church
