Do you really know who God is?
Dear Friends,
Do you really know who God is? Alas, too many believers have short changed themselves by failing to understand what the Bible teaches them God is to them. Today’s devotional will help you here. It was sung in the church I attend Sunday and I couldn’t help thinking it would bless you. Have a great day as you meditate on who God is to you if you are have repented of sin and believed in Christ.

Isaiah 44:6 (ESV)
Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel
and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
“I am the first and I am the last;
besides me there is no god.
“YOU ARE
“Sovereign, Almighty Creator,
Righteous all-powerful King,
Eternal, invisible Ruler,
Glorious Lord of all things,
Perfect, unchanging and holy,
It’s so amazing to me,
That You are my gracious Redeemer,
Savior and Shepherd, compassionate Friend.
Ruling as Judge of the nations,
Yet dealing with me tenderly,
Dwelling above all creation,
Yet coming to live within me.
So all-knowing Marker of Heaven,
It’s hard for me to conceive,
How you are my gracious Redeemer,
Savior and Shepherd, compassionate Friend.
You are my faithful Provider,
Comforter, Counselor, Shield and Defender.
I stand in awe, and with all my heart
I will shout to the earth who you are.
Savior, You’re my Prince of Peace,
Lord of lords,
King of kings.
And you reign Lord over all.”
