• Romans 14:8 (ESV)

  For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.

“‘Live whilst you live,’ the epicure would say,

And seize the pleasures of the present day;

‘Live whilst you live,’ the sacred preacher cries,

And give to God each moment as it flies;

Lord, in my view, let both united be;

I live in pleasure whilest I live to Thee.”
